How does the prediction work?

We use the Riegel formula (T₂ = T₁ × (D₂/D₁)^1.06), a well-established model for endurance performance. It assumes consistent pacing ability across distances.

Best for runners with consistent training and a recent race effort at maximum sustainable effort. Works well when predicting longer distances from shorter races.

What affects prediction accuracy?

Endurance base, weekly mileage, elevation, weather, nutrition and racing experience all influence how close predictions match reality.
